Who's behind tyno

We're a small, independent team from Detmold, in the heart of Ostwestfalen-Lippe (NRW, Germany). Over the years, we've tried plenty of apps: Evernote, Notion, Obsidian, Apple Notes, OneNote.

Each of them is good at what it's built for, but for our everyday life we were after something different: a tool that focuses on the essentials, connects notes and tasks seamlessly, and puts privacy and European server standards at the center from day one. So we built tyno.

tyno feels as direct and effortless as a sheet of paper — combined with the advantages of modern apps. Your notes and to-dos are naturally linked, while your content stays protected, encrypted on European servers. No ads, no sharing of your data.
